I've noticed my gearbox is spitting small amounts of oil when on track so looking for a solution. Searching offers lots of options from a breather filter on a long pipe to a catch tank. What's the current consensus on the best solution in terms of a proper fitting and value for money? Cheers.

That's my kind of value lol How did you connect to the box? I don't want a half arsed attachment ideally something screw in with a jubilee for the pipe. Also how long is the pipe you fitted?

As I understand it, you just need to fit the hose and there's no real need to fit a catch tank as the gearbox oil ought not reach the top of the hose..?

ha! price has gone up by a £1 as well..... brexit ;)

just took off the plastic fitting thing and jubilee clipped the pipe on, hasn't fallen off in 3 years.

filter end is attached to the metal header tank holder, so not that long.

My garage was offended by my use of Hozelock and fitted a silicone hose and filter FOC.
