So for the last couple of days i have noticed i have lost boost entirely it feels like an NA the turbo isn't kicking in at all. The actuator was stuck open but freed that up and still no boost. A couple weeks back I had the boost solenoid changed as i was experiencing temporary boost loss that seemed to have solved the problem but now i've lost it altogether! Took it back to the garage and they say it could be the turbo but before the turbo is condemned any ideas?

Have you re-checked that the actuator has not stuck open again?

Basics to check as pointes to Holding boost, actuator, pipes, etc In limp mode and running actuator boost which can feel lime none depending on spec 😊 DG

Sorry to highjack, having boost issues too (whooshing noise from 3K revs and no boost from that point) and think it's my something to do with the actuator. How do I actually check if it's working?

Whooshing noise could be a split boost pipe, or a split/damaged or even stuck recirc valve.
