think I could get away with this without doing a repair to the fibreglass? Not really bothered what it looks like behind the plate. But my concern is, the nature of the break, has left an uneven surface on the plinth, which might not be suited for strips of velco (after hearing this suggestion, would be my prefered fix). They'd likely work themselves off right?
I think i can answer this question myself. But it just wouldnt be what I want to hear, as I dont fancy the time/effort/money of a fibreglass repair for something unseen.
Bog standard sticky back velcro used on mine, two long strips. Doesn't move at all but easily pulled off if required.
