It's been announced today that current Superbike rider and 2006 Moto GP World Champion Nicky Hayden has died from his injuries received after being hit by a car while out training on his bicycle along the Rimini coast in Italy.
Very sad, great guy.

Proper legend, one of the good guys.
I always remember Danni Pedrosa taking Nicky out in his 2006 World Championship year, he didnt even go over to have a word, but you could see his anger as he walked away through the gravel trap, a very impressive young man taken too soon!
