ha-ha.....She's a good one!

In terms of ride height am happy with it at the front but will just tweak it slightly at the back, will leave it to the guys who geo it to see what they think is best.

As a little update I've put below the weight saving from the wheels and tyres alone.

Will put the details of the weights of the hubs/brakes/studs to see if there is any weight saving there too.

All the below are based on Toyo 888's.

Oem 17"s

Fronts

Wheel 10kg

Tyre 8.6kg

Total per corner 18.6kg

Total front 37.2kg

Rears

Wheel 11.5kg

Tyre 10.8kg

Total per corner 22.3kg

Total rear 44.6kg

Total 81.8kg

Team Dynamic 16/17"s

Fronts

Wheel 7.9kg

Tyre 10kg

Total per corner 17.9kg

Total fronts 35.8kg

Rears

Wheel 8.6kg

Tyre 10.8kg

Total per corner 19.4kg

Total Rears 38.8

Total 74.6kg

Ultralite 15"s

Fronts

Wheel 6.6kg

Tyre 9kg

Total per corner 15.6kg

Total fronts 31.2kg

Rears

Wheel 6.6kg

Tyre 9kg

Total per corner 15.6kg

Total rears 31.2kg

Total 62.4kg

So going from Oem to Team dynamics saves 7.2kg un-sprung weight.

Going from Team dynamics to Ultralite's 12.2kg un-sprung weight.

And best of all going from Oem to Ultralite's  is 19.4kg un-sprung weight!

Overall I'm happy with that, Should be a miniscule discount with the hubs/discs/studs so can say its a 20kg saving over Oem.

The Elise brake discs save about 500g each compared to the regular plain VX220 discs as they use thinner wear surfaces and a larger air-gap.

Only the optional cross-drilled turbo discs were the same as on the Elise.

So about another 2Kg saved ;)

Bye, Arno.

Thanks Arno,

Its on the to do list but I just cant justify the extra £350 for a set off disks at the moment.

Got other things to spend the money on!

I didn't weight my discs or hubs but they definitely felt lighter on the 4 bolt. My wheels are off the car at the moment so I'll see what they weigh with tyres on the bathroom scales.

Just checked mine on my dodgy bathroom scales so factor in some variance. Front inc tyre 15kg Rear inc tyre 17.5kg Tyres are shaved ZZR with about 3-4mm left, so probably lost 1-2 kg from new. Your set with the smaller diameter should give really good acceleration benefits. :) :) :)
