Unfortunately it's a 90DB day, my car is borderline but I'm gonna risk it.
Probably won't see many VXs that would pass the test

I managed to get in at Thruxton in my 350z, the sound testers were a lovely pair of old fellas who actively tried to get me through, i.e taking a few rpm of my redline to allow my revs to be lower for the 3/4 test. My advise would be, be really nice, tell them before they start you think you may be on the db limit and have tried really hard to get it there for the day, i generally think Thruxton just dont want cheap tat there with cherry bomb exhausts.
If you do pass though, its an awesome track, i have done it in car and on a bike, very very fast

I was there last month on a Motorsports event day and passed @ 89dB and also booked onto this date to.
As long as your no louder than around 94dB then you will get on as they usually read 3-4 dB less there than other tracks. See PH thread from this year regarding this.
Bloody great track, super fast. Was getting 145 Mph round the back straight.
