I run my own agency, after being with a large corporate for 10 years. A good local agent will always be better to work with and make the process so much easier..... Finding a good local agent is the trick, most agents are old school and stuck on their ways thinking they are owed a living. Having a decent professional who knows the marketplace and actually takes pride in what the do will make the transaction easier, it's a long way from listing to actually moving ....
