Anyone booked in on this?

Trying to decide between this with LOT or an evening at Brands with MSV.

Problem with LoT at Castle Combe is that it's sessions not full open pitlane.

But I will say... that does work pretty well at Combe... Did 2 LOT days at Combe last year and didn't feel robbed of track time.  Session and break length just fine.  Whatever you do, do not book if Combe is the TDO... I did this in 2015 and there were 80 cars!  Most of the day was queuing!

Shame I'm in France, I could have come to see your watch   :excl:   (and maybe have a passenger lap in an Evora, as I've still not been in one).

Also, I still haven't had my latest exhaust sound tested. Oh well.

Have you tried 99 octane in the VX yet? That alone might cure the pinking...

Haha! That's a shame Nev. maybe next time? Yep, the vx has been run on super - makes no perceptible difference.

Have fun guys, was find finding it difficult to get a dog sitter. Booked an evening at brands on the 27th June with MSV.

Great day, can always tell, as it's when I'm absolutely fcuked when I get home. It was so warm in the car by the end I thought I was going to pass out so called it a day shortly after it went opl. Good of Foxy to offer a Combe taxi service for everyone lol - oh for AC!!

AC FTW!!

I concur, it was a great day - shame they have to run sessions at Combe. It was very quiet on track, only some rather rapid caternails to play with but they were just a little bit too quick even for the mighty Evora which never ceases to amaze me with how it performs on track. rallly

Sounds great guys. What the circuit like from a run off point of view?

It's the closest I've come to writing off my VX when I outbraked at Camp, and understeered right to the edge of the track - probably about a car length to the barrier :o

camp has that tricky bump on entry , is safer to spin to the infield rather than try and style it out

True, I saw a classic Mini that looked like a smart car after crashing at Camp.

My problem was it was wet and apparently the approach to Camp is the only part not resurfaced a few years back, so it's more slippery than the rest of the braking zones.
