Has this been sent to people with free accounts? I already pay $29.95 a year to host 1000's of images for business and I havent received anything and my hosting is still fine.

Thats gonna break a ton of threads on here.

I noticed the other day on various car restoration threads I follow, that the photos had gone, then noticed my photos had also been locked.

Just cost us $399 at work. All our e-bay images are on photofuckit. No prior notice, came in to work this morning to find no images on our 3,000 odd listings.

It's really about extracting as much money as they can while they can. You don't get new customers by charging for image hosting, but you can blackmail existing companies by charging high fees and taking their images down unless they pay up.

I haven't had an email from photobucket but I only host a small number of images for here and a couple of other forums.
