Does anyone else's turbo pop and bang? I've got a 3" system and it still doesn't pop, does anyone know if it needs to be mapped in? Cheers in advance Johnny
Means it's more economical and quieter and your exhaust stuffing will likely survive better. Also it won't scare people when you over take them.

Plus the EGT is lower.
If you want pops and bangs you better throw fireworks out of the window while driving to get the attention of passengers and cops.
If you really want to risk the engine and turbo:
Just set the timing advance to 0 at throttle closed, deactivate the decel Fuel cut and then fry your valves, Turbo, cat, O2 sensor and exhaust stuffing.

you just need to set the minimum ignition timing map to -10 degrees ( or less for very severe lift off bangs ) , for the first two rows of low load and across all the rpm range.
this will then pop bang on over run lift off and if you then lightly touch the throttle to put fuel back will give that blub-blub-blub noise

Mine seems to do it more when cold - does that make sense?

Ecu adds a little bit more fuel when engine coolant is cold , similar to the old choke , fuel enrichment.

mine didn't do much even with both cats removed until I had it mapped in
just get a mapper to do it and it will pop and bang as much as you like
