Well I must say although it could of been more "epic" with cgi and some critisms of bits . spitfire making a great glider ! I'm glad I went to see it on the big screen with surround sound. I felt it made it feel quite real without gratuitous blood and guts

This week I watched Logan, John Wick, The Hitman's Bodyguard, and Goodtime, and was unable to watch any to the end they were such crap, Hitman's BG probably the worst, two main protagonists with verbal diarrhea.  Lost City of Z was OK and Alien Covenant a disappointment.

Most of it is just pulp for the masses and money for the investors. Better to just go for a nice walk IMO !

As for TV, I barely watch it any more, it's mainly unbearable watered down gob-shite for the masses. "Celebrity island whingers" and "come dine with me cos I'm a cuntpuffin" are the final straw for anyone with an IQ > 80!

Watching it at the moment on dvd, and totally agree with the OPs comments. It is a bloody insult to your intelligence. If you can't do it properly then don't bother at all.

Go and see darkest hour, fantastic film, the dunkirk bit although small is exactly what you expect operation dynamo to look like.

Have to agree with you Martin, I thought it was far too "arty" and not nearly accurate enough.

Whilst we're on the subject of films though I watched Lion last night, now in my top 3 films, absoluetly brilliant.

You seem to like hitman movies   :)

Try the "The Hit" UK film with John Hurt, Terrance Stamp and a very young Tim Roth.
