Boost Gauge Installation

As we have lost most pictures from the posts I'd just like to confirm that it doesn't matter where I take the T off the vacuum for the tpr when taking a feed for boost guage. I.e. Before or after the existing T piece (just visible from the pic)
Also, any recommendation on boost gauge? Will an eBay one suffice or better off spending more for a well known brand?
Thanks
Nick

It wont matter where you T from.
I would however advise while you're doing that to zip tie all those joints on the existing vac lines. They have a tendency to pop off, well for me anyway.
Cant really comment on gauges as I've only ever had what was on any cars when I bought them! Normally Blitz or Apexi.

I went for a "stack".
Wired using the "illumination" feed and positive from the stereo, grounded to the gear mech housing.
Vacuum pipe following the gear/handbrake cables.
T'd off the fpr.

I personally would advise against this location - the previous owner of my car installed it that way.
Impossible to look at the boost gauge while flooring it / keeping eyes on the road.

I've seen some pics on here where people have a boost gauge pod that integrate with the starter button. A better location if i'm honest but don't know were to buy them from sorry. Something I will be looking to do in the future though.
