Great day , hot all day and some good driving going on. Fun watching how quickly Sutol despatched a McLaren 575 and Nigel was on fire in his Europa, I hope I can drive even close to as good as that when like when I'm 70! He was the hardest scrap I had all day trying to catch him. 

Lauren was faster than she's ever been and quimbles too, was flying.

As ever, the VX's were showing most how it should be done.

Always impressive to watch unless one of the buggers is behind me!

think i have broken an engine mount, luckily it was on the last session.

 

very slow start to the day, including a little off at Madwick... count my lucky stars x 2.

 

much much better in the afternoon, once it quietened down manged to learn the track a bit better and have a play with some cars.

 

think i will come again as its a nice drive down.

To be honest the Mclaren didn't have the best of drivers, fast in straights and then chronically slow in the corners. However I had a good day, no noise issues which surprised me, only 87 static. Had no heat issues at all, cooling fans only coming on once when I was behind Quimbles pushing his car up the pit lane (nice to see you're protecting the environment) and I was under power. It was unbearably hot in my car, really sapped my strength.

 

First out in the last session with Martin and Nigel but never saw you after leaving the pit lane, would have been nice to have lapped you ha ha. Had the Mclaren behind me in the pit lane and kept him behind me until the second to last lap, he must have been a bit quicker in the corners than earlier. That's my last TD at Goodwood for this year, did it uninsured too as I'm saving my last TD insurance slot for Zandie. Hope we have similar weather, makes the beer taste nicer post TD on the beach.
