I wanted to put a post up to introduce myself to the forum. Long time lurker and recently took he plunge on picking up a Stage 4 VXT. Some may have already seen the car on the forum and on the Facebook page where i posted a picture already.
I have some plans for the car over the coming few months. New wheels as i am not keen on the TD's, tidy up the interior, LCD dashboard, bring the paintwork back to a showroom shine and maybe a massive rear wing!
The car has developed a P1106 fail code whilst in Scotland so got it transported to MMG for them to diagnose and generally give the car a bit of a health check.From what i seen the p1106 code is not uncommon so i am hoping its a quick fix! car has been siting idle with the past owner for a year so maybe something just needs replacing. can't wait to get it back and go for a proper soon, the taste of the stage 4 power was very addictive. I think fate dealt me a good hand in throwing the fault code up on my first day on the road trip in Scotland as i would have probably go overexcited and binned it had it been running full boost!
Anyway pics of first couple of weeks of ownership below. i will probably keep updating this thread on progress and to give the car some 'forum' history if i ever come to sell it.
