Hi all,

my name`s Stefano and I write from Italy, I`ve a vx220 since 2010.

After many years of mods, after many troubles, after turbos, maps, a lot of glassfiber and even fire... here is my wheelbarrow :

Next steps are : Coupe bonnet, aero pack, new ecu to add some features as TC.

At this time the car has about 400hp whit these mods :

 

- Engine and gearbox (Z20LER, as europa one)

low CR CPS pistons

steel rods

265 Cams

custom intake manifold

custom exhaust manifold

Garrett GTX3067R turbo

Sachs racing Clutch and plate

Fidanza 3.4kg flywheel

custom 3" ,with ferrari muffler, exhaust

custom ecu remap (standard ME 1.5.5)

air water intercooler with front radiator

water injection

pro alloy radiator

Bacci LSD

3.95 final drive (as N/A)

and many other...

 

- Suspensions, chassis and brakes

Nitron NTR46 hoffman

modified steering arms

custom toe link kit

nylon bushing

Ferrari f430 front calipers

rear AP 2 pot calipers without handbrake

Ferodo DS3000 pads

hel braided brake hoses

 

- wheels

ATS racelight 18" wheels

225 front 265 rear Kumho V700 K61

 

- body

widened body ( 25/30 mm each side )

reduced baggage (to let hot air go out)

bigger side vents

front carbon vents (to reduce pressure on front wheels)

and many other...

In italy there are a lot of vx and lotus owner !!!

I worked for Maserati :-) but now have decided to work for my self on sport cars.

Calipers need a 10 mm adapters with an offset of about 20mm but I do not remember the exact size.

You eventually can use oem holes and put other discs with less offset to fits without adapters (spacers are needed for 330mm discs)

Looks ace. I used the rear spats to give both front and rear arches a wider stance. Yours is another level. thumbsup
