Which R888? R or S?
Why only the rears?
£150 a pair is dirt cheap anyway. Is that correct?

They're new as far as I know mate... would there be a manufacturer mark of date of production on them?Any idea of the tyres age too?

Yes, the last 4 numbers of the DOT code depict the week and year of manufacture

These are the old R888 and as far as I was aware there were no more GG compound tyres available, only SG. I tried to get some GG in March this year for the new season and couldnt get any. I tried everywhere, and I mean everywhere, including tyreleader. These seem very, very cheap. That link makes no mention of the compound. If they are SG they are soft compound for sprints and the like.
If these are GG they are a bargain.

They list the SG separately and more expensive at £186. I wouldn't be totally sure you'll not get SG though.
The R888R is only slightly more expensive at £159.
The reason Tyreleader has so many options, variable stock and pricing is because it's operating from European wide stock. It really is massive in comparison to anything we have in the UK

You realise those prices are per tyre on tyreleader?
