I gave up on samsung also. So many phones that lasted less than 18 months.

I now have an LG G3 that's still going strong after 2.5 years. It's not perfect but it's been better than the Samsung's I've had, both for reliability and lack of bloatware. It was also cheap.

I would like a V30 as they have a fab camera, but they've just come out and are still expensive and just for once I'd like to get 3 years out of a phone.

I have one, because its gay and so am I :P

Have to say, its fcuking epic!

Does have a few quirks where it needs a reboot now and then if the fingerprint sensor gets fussy, but on the whole you cant fault 36-48hrs of decent use coupled with under 60min full charge and it stays cold.

p*ss cheap for what is it, compared to the others.

The only niggle is that the screen is a shade soft and will scratch if you are a touch careless. Thankfully its only a dinky scratch :D

I think it maybe time to join android... ibob will be happy

Watching this  Makes me happy

No its not Rick Astley

And will you never learn with the Apple nasty?  Everything Samsung do, Apple copy. Exploding note 3, exploding iphone 8. Bezel free Galaxy S8, bezel free iPhone X. Loving the latest feature of iPhone - replace the character 'i' with 'A?' I don't recall Samsung doing that though .......... But maybe that's ok as the iPhones are good value for money. Oh wait "The iPhone X smartphone costs $357.50 to make and sells for £999 ($1218), giving it a gross margin of 70.6 percent"

I've had my galaxy S5 over 3 years. I carry a spare battery in the car so swap it out if I need to top up the power (have they allowed you to do that on an iPhone yet?)

£20 a month with three all you can eat data which is needed seeing as I average about 80gb use a month.

But if you leave your car knowing you wont be back for a while you can stick it in a bag. The car is just a storage device for it :D

How about that - it's just today broken after 2.5 years!

Fortunately - nothing lost. All was backed up.

I have a spare to use for the moment - a 'Wiko Lenny' what ever that is. Very cheap both in price and spec.

Now need to get a replacement. What's the current advice - need a good camera, micro sd card slot, ideally removable battery, and not silly money!
