Wheels How Big Can You Go On A Vx

Ok I know there are loads of reasons not to go above 17" on a VX but what is the largest size anyone has fitted to a VX without having to cut the bodywork and also do Lotus wheels fit on a VX.

Knew that. Just testing.. Lotus are normally 4 stud though?? Not the Exige then?

 

Anyway, I'll shut up and let someone who has a clue what they're talking about carry on..

Those wheels are Exige V6 5 stud. They wont fit

yeah they wont fit, bizarrely the rear pcd is 5x114.3 (yet the front is still 5x110)

yeah they wont fit, bizarrely the rear pcd is 5x114.3 (yet the front is still 5x110)

Almost like the V6 is a parts bin car. Who would have thought that :D

Ok So Even tho the Exige Wheels are 5 stud they don't fit ... Thank you that has cleared that up ... Those look nice what make are they anyone know ?So iTake it [color=rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;]5x110 is the correct fitting for the VX... Thanks again for making things clear to a oldbie :-)[/color]

Front is VX style hubs, rear is Evora.

I've now got them wheels on my car, spacers fitted front to clear the caliper and rear to clear the dampers.

 

The front is pretty much the same O/A diameter as the original 17 inch wheels, the rears are obviously slightly bigger

This car has either 18 or 19'' Insignia VXR alloys, not sure if they are straight bolt on?

The centre bore size is important too.

I have 5x112 ultraleggera on my car. With "wobble" screws ( if That's the correct name.

Lotus Europa SE is a straight fit, 195/45 R17 and 235/40 R18.

Nev's got 18"ers on Nipper but not standard bodywork though.
