As the title says, it's time for me to find a VX220. I am only interested in the turbo edition, so please no N/A or S/C (although I love supercharged applications).

Also I am not interested in Cat C examples, Europa blue ones and yellow ones.

Lastly, I would prefer one which isn't heavily modified (let's say stage 2 at most).

I could continue the list of do's and don'ts, but it's a bit pointless I guess.

My budget is not unlimited, but it's fair I think.

Be warned, I will ask a lot of questions and a specialist will inspect the car, so please genuine/honest offers only.

I am based in Birmingham, but I am ready to travel in order to find the right one.

I know I am picky, so this might take a while.

Cheers,

Vasilis

Just buy the 30k black one of ours. Could save you a lot of messing about.

I've seen it and it seems truly amazing. Quite frankly though, it's above my budget. I'm sure someone will buy it and appreciate it!

Almost everyone we sell these top vx220s to starts with a budget and am idea of the kind of car you can get for the budget but unfortunately there so many tatty cars out there it sometimes takes a few wasted trips viewing cars to see why the top ones are priced as they are. Given that the base price for a decent turbo is 15k 16995 is pretty keen for a low mileage car these days.

And ?

Prices do not drop on these cars because of cold weather. Listen to jonnyboy, he'll always give you good honest advice (and take your money, ha ha).

Prices do drop during the winter. It's the basic law of supply and demand. Proof for that?

A black one originally sold for 12500£ is now sold for 12000£

A red one originally sold for 15000£ is now sold for 14500£.

A white one originally sold for 15000£ is now sold for 13000£.

A blue one originally sold for 15000£ is now sold for 13000£.

A yellow one originally sold for 15000£ is now sold for 14500£ and accepts offers.

A green one originally sold for 16000£ is now sold for 15000£.

Another red one originally sold for 16500£ is now sold for 15900£.

Apart from the above, my post was referring to the owners who don't use their cars during the winter and would consider selling them due to lack of use.

From what's currently on the market there is only one NA (or S/C) which is above my budget. Regardless of that, thanks but I prefer a turbo one.

I'm checking the market on a daily basis and I keep a record of every sold car to know what's happening. OCD kicked in :)

They appear to have been sold then sold again for a lower price, how bizarre 😄

It makes more sense if you read it as "listed for sale at"
