Just finished this led light switch conversion, thought the link might be useful to others.
Didn't use their kit but on the page under files there is a step by step how to. Enough led's and resistors cost me £3 posted.
Be warned you need a precision soldering iron and eyes like a hawk to do the soldering

Seen those and was on the verge of something similar but stuck with original and at £3, and around an hour and a quarter it's now done.
