Hi All,

 

Offering winter suspension refresh deals for your VX's till the end of January. 

 

Refreshing includes:

 

- Removal of brakes, dampers, uprights, wishbones, toe links etc

- Removal of bushes, ball joints etc

- Shot blasting and powder coating if wanted

- Fitting of new bushes, ball joints

- Refitted with new bolts throughout and all fixings corrosion block protected

- Basic geo

 

Ball joints are Delphi not cheap copies. Bushes can be either Ertacetal uprated or Seriously Lotus OE spec bushes.

 

The offer is £995+vat for all of that till the end of January.

 

Shot blasting and powder coating in black is an additional £175+vat. Any RAL colour can be done but there is an additional £40 for non standard colours. 

 

If you go for the above discounts can be had on Nitrons, Toe link kits, steering arms etc etc.

If you don't want shot blasting and powder coating on the wishbones etc then 2 days. If you wanted the coating then a full week.

To add Nitron have said they will add 5% discount on all NTR's with this offer. The new Clubsport dampers we have been developing with Nitron are pretty much finished so these could be done with the refresh.

Please can you advise details of the clubsport damper. On the Nitron web site they only mention R1 and R3 dampers.

The clubsport dampers as a new spec of damper we have been developing with Nitron. Quantum and Ohlins had made big steps in improving Lotus/VX damping in the last few year and Nitron wanted to do the same. We have been working to create a damper that can better that and think we have. The last set of changes have been made and that set will be signed off in the next week or so. 

 

These are track/race focused valving not valved to cover the whole range of uses like other dampers need to. Nitron will then have Street Series for a base road upgrade/light track, base NTR40's for full trackdays with some road manners and the new NTR40 Clubsport's for track use.

What exactly is so special about this suspension setup? Just fixed valving?
