Thanks all for your recommendations, I am all covered awaiting Sat   Adrian Flux = £610 legal cover, no breakdown, courtesy car, cover for mods ("do what you want to it, just let us know, no extra premium") 400 excess, windscreen 100 excess

Did you go with Adrian Flux then? Did you not want trackday cover?

Interesting post, good to hear the latest on insurance options., I had to pay extra for my euro track day cover last year which cost an extra  £200 with classic line so really want to get euro cover this year with someone.

Great news Stuwy, glad you got your car back.

@Martin... A Plan - £810, no EU trackdays at all possible. Manning - £779, but £250 per EU trackday Classicline - £785 - Unlimited UK trackdays but £200 per EU trackday REIS - £632, 6TDs (inc EU) but £5k excess on track. Adrian Flux - £1065... didn't go further. CCI (now Footman James) £707, 6TDs, but max 2 EU days (no top up possible). I used to be with CCI as they were great, but it's really gone downhill since it's now Footman James, all the agents I spoke to were very unhelpful.

For me (cheaper car that Martin or Cocopops obv!):

41, two fault bumps in the last two years (annoyingly!!)..

Henderson Taylor £570.74, 5  free UK and Euro trackdays (can't remember the TD excess)

Classic Line £534.86 6 free UK TDs, £55ea after, £1000 xs on TDs. £200 for Euro TDs

REIS £489.54, 6 free UK and Euro TDs, 10% value excess on TD but could get a excess protector thing (at extra cost) which would reduce that to 5% irrc

Adrian Flux £394.15 but TDs £200 each!

Hence I'm with REIS..  :D

Not sure who Strugs dealt with, but I spoke (many times) with Alison who was incredibly patient and tried her very best to get the best options. 01159651031 is her contact number.

Strange, I was told the only track days excluded by A-plan were Castle Combe and the Ring. Other Euro tracks ok.
