Massive panic caused by my shocks requiring new shafts from Nitron which is delaying the rebuild by Meteor! Steve (Crabash) to the rescue with a loan of his NTR46 race pros picking them up after work Friday so will be fitting them by torchlight Friday night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cracking day chaps! Good to finally meet everyone after all the whatsapp banter in the bud up. A few track day cherries popped and a lifetime of upgrade skintdom beckons for some Biggest win for me was that the car DIDN’T BREAK! Rear tyres were shagged before the day even started so had lots of fun oversteering / trying to keep the car balanced. Steve’s (Crabash) NTR46 Race dampers were bloody awesome. Almost twice the spring poundage as mine so it’s given me some food for thought. It’s never changed direction so quickly and I’m sure I was faster than last time but didn’t take a single video. Smooth as ever, did you manage to crack a sub 1:10?

No, best i could manage was a 110.4 but that was from 2nd to last corner to 2nd to last corner so not a true lap time. There is a 109 in the car as it stands but it would mean ive got to trust the car more.. if i didnt have a full tank of fuel as well i may of got into the 9s at blyton the long left hander is a killer for starvation.. if the tank wasnt brimmed them it would get starvation.. i think 4/5 of us experienced the same. So its either pro alloy tank time or swirl pot setup

Epic day all round. Thought the car was a road car that can be used on track, it's definitely the other way round. Great to meet some new people and chew the fat. As Neil says it's upgrades time now! Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk

I overtook every Lotus I came across. Chris and Mark were in a league of their own. There was a very tasty RX7 with a LS2 V8 in it! Never saw it on track but Christ it looked and sounded good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

From my vantage marshal post at Ushers, I was able to watch the obvious differences from the VX to the Lotus fraternity. Visibly quicker even against the couple of V6 Exige cars that were there. But there again - I'm biased!

 

One thing I'm absolutely sure of, at the end of the day, the only cars left on track were Vauxhalls!
