Get water injection, due to excessive heat.
(Otherwise you are right back at 300 on a hot day)

That sounds interestingIf I was you I would get water injection/meth with obd tuner pro and push the limits of the m62. I reckon 360-380 can be done on the m62 with meth.

consider a spitfire high power pump
the injectors are siemens deka 630cc, vxr ones wont cut the mustard.

The bosh ev14's could be an alternative. They have the same spray pattern as vxr but are bigger. Siemens 630 is single spray.
I was concerned about spray pattern when I did my conversion, but in the end I don't think it makes any significant difference.

what differences have you seen between the two? i assume to make such a statement you have tested and experimented with both types to make you suggest the bosch is the better injector..

The bosch injector is better spray pattern for a 16valve engine,

Presumably the different engines have different intake port / throat designs and injectors location within the manifold, therefore perhaps the different spray patterns either matter / don't matter dependant on the engine..

Although i never saw an injector duty % i was told by pretty much all on here the vxr injectors were too small for my harrop at 350+ and they would be on the limit and was advised to go bigger. although it did seem a bit of a bun fight about what was the better injector to get, bosch or siemens.

Oh, what significant practical/measurable benefit do the Bosch ones have?
I've had both the Siemens 630cc and 875cc ones in my engine and never had a mapping/maintenance/power/idle control issue with them (either with the OEM ECU or the Adaptronic ECU).

What is the max size on a std vx? My new toy is running 305/30@20 rears and still spins them up in the dryWider rear tyres too...

I'm not sure what the largest tyre/wheel combo you can put under a standard VX to be honest, others might know better, though it will vary depending on camber settings and wheel "poke".
305mm rears.
Grip is everything, as we both know! Even with 285mm tyres, I've had mine spin up in 3rd gear in the dry or smooth tarmac.
I see dozens of people on here spend thousands on high springs rates and this and that "better" damper, yet seem to ignore increasing their wheel/tyre sizes which would be more influential. At the end of the day EVERYTHING you do in the car goes through the rubber, so arguably it's one of the most important thing to concentrate on (if you want to stay on the tarmac).
If the OP increases torque of his engine by +100% then it makes sense to increase grip by +100% too... though I know it's hard/a pain to do.
