I am selling my VX. There, I’ve said it    I planned on this being a keeper, but a new house purchase means I am reluctantly having to pick between my toys…

£18,500 is fair (I believe) being reflective of the car’s extraordinarily high specification and prime history.  This VX is one of the fastest in the UK, still very road usable, but not for the faint-hearted!

I have owned “Victor” since 2003 with just the main dealer before (ex-demonstrator), so the log book shows 1 previous keeper.  It has been garaged its whole life, rarely used in the wet, and regularly serviced by the same specialist mechanic, most recently in March, just 800 miles ago.

All the modifications have been completed by professionals, being Courtenay Sport for all engine/powertrain work, and Plans Motorsport for some additional chassis bits.  The car comes complete with a very detailed history file with all receipts and so on.  I have always used the best Synthetic oils, regularly changed and the car has always been warmed up and cooled down.

The Coral Blue metallic paintwork has a deep shine and the bodywork is in excellent overall condition.  It's an absolute stunner, a real head turner. I am not pretending the car is as new though because the car is not new!  There are the usual stone chips to the front clam for example.  Interior wise, it is very clean and original – just a few minor scuffs to plastics and some wear on the fabric shoulder of the driver’s seat, where you get in and out.  A very close inspection of the car reveals the odd minor area that could be detailed if you choose, but nothing that has worried me…and I’m pretty fussy!

The car is available for viewing and inspection in the Surrey area, but please, serious potential purchasers only.  Thank you!

Sh!t, thats some spec! Lolz at the book 184 lbs/ft though :P  Wonder what else could keep up with that at double (or more) of the listed price. GLWTS, must be grim selling up.

What a stunner, i would love to own this!

Looking at your profile and history of VX's, you probably will

I used to have the K06 when it was stage 3.  It may have been the mapping, but what I found with that is that the turbo was almost like a switch, either on or off boost, which made things a bit unpredictable.  The T28 is bigger so technically has more lag, but the reality is it delivers a more progressive boost delivery and is much more predictable  thumbsup
