Lots of enquiries but still not sold. Too many asking if its road legal. Quite a few viewings but seems to be people just wanting an afternoon out!!  

 

Got it on ebay and Pistonheads at the moment but after doing some back of a fag packet calculations I can get more if I break it (and that's only adding up the value of the major parts) so when the current ads run out in a couple of weeks I think that's what I'll do.

 

If I do I will put up a new for sale post for all the parts.

Exactly, only one in the world on a vx but to be honest I would sell it as a package with the engine, ITB's and Pro5

At the moment the car seems to be too modified for some people who want a road/track car and not what other people want (mainly from Ireland) who want a rallycross car. 

 

If anybody does want to buy it to race in the UK (MSVR TDC/TT, Modern Classics or the considerable number of other series its eleigible for) for their first race I will come to any UK circuit and do support/pitboard/guidance for them. Its even registered for MSVR TT for 2018 included in the price, all that's needed is the driver putting on the registration.

This is such a shame. Surely there is someone who wants a properly sorted track & race car? 

 

For the money, it would be a safe, fast & well-sorted track car & it WILL make you smile everytime you drive it. A trailer would only set you back £1000 and you wouldn't need a 4x4 or large car to tow it. Some trailers can even fit in a garage.

 

Given a choice, I would choose to tow a car to the circuit. I would also choose to have a proper track only focused car rather than a compromised road/track car. 

 

Then consider how much it would cost financially, time and effort to get a typical fettled VX into a Track focused car, like many of us have done? It is a bargain!

Not just that but I found a track focused car an awful road car so barely drove it.
