Should be a good family steed Lee. What options did you tick?

Performance Pack (245bhp instead of 230, bigger front brakes, mechanical LSD) DSG, Leather, rear tints, reverse camera, Dynamic Chassis Control, Dynaudio. Kept wheels at 18 for ride comfort (and tyre cost), rather than upgrade to 19s.

Very nice, I have a MK7 Gti as my daily as well.

I do like the subtle styling changes they have made with the interiorexterior of the MK7.5

Its not rim tape  They are OEM option wheels. I didnt want Diamond cut (white worm) and didnt want 19s. So hence it was these.

The wheel issue is something vw should sort in my view. My mk5 GTI had the white worm issue so I had them painted late on, I'm waiting for the same to happen on my mk7. You'd think vw would learn the finish doesn't last. I'll paint them when the time comes or fit some lightweights!

looks right on 991.2 GT3 too - and for some reason only ever works red on red.

however, the idea that diamond cut wheels will be harder to keep is probably false. They will be more prone to damage, but there are plenty of places that can repair them. 'rim tape' wheels will ruin the tape at the first curbing and i don't know who can fix them at the moment (despite it being only paint).
