Aren't you tempted to just leave it be and drive it as it is, as you don't seem to spend much time driving your VXes if you don't mind me saying so!

Is it really worth trying to eek out another xx HP and it being off the road for another yy months? Summer is close, once this next dastardly wave of snow goes (hopefully).

Not so ironic really Ross, once I'd done my initial 6 month build my car has been fully working and on the road almost all of the time, so I get to drive it a lot. I've had about 7 years of reliable motoring with just one engine rebuild due to the CS bad map, which only took my car off the road for about 2 months.

But for busy people like Rich who spent a year or so building his last car to then only drive it for a few hours before selling it seemed somewhat unrewarding. Just concerned it might happen again.

Nev, I can assure you this car will be driven and used to compete. I have no plans to pull it off the road again until next winter. I want a full some of Road, track and sprint use. The last one was a crying shame to get rid it so soon but I did what I needed to do at the time as we all do and that gamble has paid of well putting me in a very fortunate position to be able to own and build another.

So after purchasing the car last year, I had it in my possession for a week before shipping it down to Joe and Neil for what was supposed to be just a few upgrades! Whats ended up happening is far from that lol! The car is now very close to being ready for collection and with only two weeks to go before its outing at snet I hope to have just enough time to get some mapping done and a geo! A few pics of the car now......

Off to collect the car tonight along with the track wheels. I'll do my best the get the car on the rollers this week to carry out a systems check and some base mapping.
