Schroth Profi Asm 4-point harness, for example, can be ordered either with flexibelt (which can be altered between pull-up or pull-down) or as pull-up. The same harness also exists as a Lotus specific version (shorter belts and different lap belt mounts, as I understand) but this harness has pull-down for some reason! Don't understand why this one is pull-down when there's so little space in the Elise/VX.Pull up belts adjust the lap belts by pulling the belt ends up, rather than down. Easier to do in a narrow car. Commonly used in Chaterham/Westfield type cars. I thought they might be the thing in Vx220s, but haven't seen them anywhere.

Where do most buy the inserts from? I came across a company a few months ago but have since forgotten it!

Our local tr8immer fitted by grommets and when it came to doing another VX he said it was easier to cut holes (its obvious where they go) and just retrim around that hole, using some rubber edging on the seat for extra protection. It looks better as well. The grommets tend to pull the leather and they always have wrinkles around them.

Grommets fitted pic here http://www.vx220.org...-and-harnesses/Hi, I really didn't think about the shoulder straps not being in the correct position, so thanks for the post. Has any one got any pics of the holes cut out and retrimmed with the rubber edging? Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk
