Hi all,
Im wondering if anyone has a 4.4 final drive from an f23 Satern Vue gearbox. Somebody may have purchased one from the states and not fitted it...both parts seem to be discontinued,
Or better still one fitted to an f23 box
Cheers Peter.

I believe wazzavx220 may have a spare 4.41 or at least can give you the details of how to purchase the parts

Phew, 4.41 FD, didn't even know that they existed.
If you find any useful info on this Prallyx, would you mind posting it up here please, as one day (when ever my F23 needs to comes out) I hope to put a significantly reduced FD in mine too. Thanks.

remember that the vxT has a 3.63 FD, so even a NA 3.95 diff would give better accelleration. The 4.17 in a vxT would be like the 4.41 in the NA.
The alfa M32 6 speed is equivalent to a 4.85 F23, which is why I have that gearbox in mine

Yeppers.
The issue on my particular car comes about as my rev range is so extended that it does 160 MPH in 4th gear at 8000 RPM, making 5th gear almost useless (apart from cruising obviously). I would really like the extra gear to stir around and the only way to use it is to reduce the final drive (or reduce the wheel/tyre circumference).
Swapping from 3.63 to 4.17 would drop the ratio by 14%, so 4th gear limit would drop from 160 MPH to 137 which isn't quite as far as I'd like really.
