I just bought my first vx yesterday
i used to own /build several 7 type cars but i've decided to put all that behind me and get something more normal...haha
looking forward to meeting fellow owners, meetings, trackdays etc.

Just seen the spotted post - SC with forged engine, like mine

i'm in Hartlepool...
yes m62, 2.9 pulley, Tullet 2.5 system, charge cooler, blue injectors, Saab ported head, Comp blower cams, Wiesco pistons 8.9:1 Comp 0.20 oversized, Saab head gasket and head bolts, Eagle rods, baffled Saab sump, uprated clutch, lightened fly wheel. etc
the rest of the car has had the same upgraded make over...

Sounds very similar to my spec. I’m just about to fit a 3” pulley (previously standard) so hoping to push 300 but we’ll see. No charge cooler up front but running WI

Water injection was next on upgrade list of the guy i bought it off...its got 315bhp at the moment (fly wheel)...im just going leave things as they are ....at the moment...
is Blyton in May run by LOT?

Rob Edwards from Grantham...engine was built and fitted by Joe Fahey-Brooks for Luke Richardson, Set up by Matt Bentley .

Ah cool, I don't know Rob but I know Joe and Matt so it will be a great piece of kit 
I went the other way to you and chopped my VX in for a Caterham Race car which I am racing this year.

What spec is your car?
Ive had a few 7's over the years, last had a Kawasaki 1400zzr in it...stupid me sold it....
