Previously bought and fitted one from Coolex, but after contacting them yesterday (06.03.18) they now have an 11 week lead time on cores so aren't available.

So... Anyone bought & fitted one of these radiators? £119, so seem good value if they're not made of cheese. The seller is UK-PERFORMANCE-UK on eBay.

https://www.ebay.co....PYAAOSwRXRZVNpF

It says that the core size is 620 x 290 x 40mm. Sound about right?

Any feedback welcome - or alternative options that aren't eye-watering expensive.

Thanks,

Dan

What's the recommended option? Mines in for a new rad at BOT week after next.

Got mine from Coolex in Nottingham, took a day to fit , working fine. I got the twin fan option ,have one fan on auto and one on a switch . Shame about the lead time, I'm pleased with the service I got.

That’s my predicament. I purchased a Coolex unit last year and fitted to my NA... now want to fit one onto my Turbo and they’re out of stock so wanted to see if anyone else had recommendation other than the usual ProAlloy etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If your really desperate I think I may have a coolex one in my garage if I havent already fitted it. I genuinely cant remember what I did with it. I will look tomorrow and let you know. You can have mine and I can wait for a new one to be built up if this helps.

Had a Coolex one in the race car for three and a half years after the Pro Alloy let go after two years. It was great, fitted well, well made.

If you could have a look for me that would be ace? Feel free to PM me if you'd rather.

They seem to be run by Barry Scott. Isn't he the guy fro the Cilit Bang adverts?

I got mine from Cool Experts but they seem to be out of stock:

Yeah there's an 11 week lead time on new stock coming in - hence asking around that's all!
