The Italians like to take their time.

Last May I took a wrong turn in Florence and drove through an area of historical interest, by the time I realized, I had driven past the camera.

Thought I had got away with it but today I got a letter through the post informing me of my violation. The fine if paid within 5 days is 82 euros.

Poop. I've had similar over the years, I've just ignored them and nothing has ever come of it. At the end of the day I don't think this sort of thing rates very highly on Interpol!

Send it back saying some guy called Mario was taking his mate Luigi for a Pizza and had borrowed your car.

I paid it as we go to Italy twice a year to the same area so didn't want any hassle.
