In anticipation of buying a Megane RS250 Cup I have decided to sell my Mazda MX5 NB track/sprint car.

Its a 2000 X reg in red with 78000 miles.

Spec as follows:

Standard engine (147BHP)

K&N Typhoon induction kit

TR Lane roll bar

Ultra Racing front ARB

Ultra Racing front strut brace

Ultra Racing mid chassis brace

Ultra Racing rear subframe brace

Ultra Racing rear ARB

Cobalt rear strut brace (not fitted)

New droplinks

HSD Monopro suspension

Silicone hoses

Driftworks ally uprated rad

Brake master cylinder brace

De-cat (I have the cat)with stainless steel sports rear silencer (cant remember the make at present)

VX220 seats with harness holes

Sabelt harnesses for driver and passenger

Momo steering wheel and quick release

Two sets of wheels, one with Uniroyal Rainsport 3s & the other with Toyo R888 SG

Rodders brake pads with new standard discs (Google it). Just had fluid changed to ATE TYP200

Back on Track Motorsport geo and suspension set up

Carbon vinyl wrapped bonnet with euro lift and carbon wrapped boot lid.

Interior not stripped out but boot stripped out

Soft top roof, not perfect but does the job and keeps the rain out

Rear sills have been welded and are strong and tidy, no rot in the arches

Left hand front chassis leg has been welded and is strong, right hand has some minor rust by the look of it but seems strong.

Just competed in Javelin sprint at Snetterton and was first in class (OK it was the only car in that class :D). Was the fastest MX5 by 16 seconds and finished ahead of far more powerful cars (Civic Type Rs, ST150s, Exige S2 and others).

All good mechanically, strong engine, gearbox and transmission no noises.

I have the V5, not currently MOT'd but no reason why it couldn't be and then used as a road car also.

Other photos to follow and I can email or whatsap them to anyone who is interested.

Location: Bisley, Surrey (10 mins from M3 Jnc3)

£2495

In the description about the sills and front legs. Its a clean one compared to most. At that age they all have rust to some extent. This one has been caught early and fixed. Surface rust on wishbones etc.

It is. Its trackday/sprint ready, prepared properly, all someone's got to do is jump in it and drive it.
