I bought I car that has a valve that can be adjusted between recirculating and dump to atmospher. I have trouble with the car stalling and think it may have to do with the dump valve. I wanted to test to adjust it.

Looking in the engine bay I can't see it.

Were is it and how do I get to it the best way.

I hope I don't have to remove the clam. Seems like a lot of work.

These valves are generally to be avoided given the relationship between correct air metering and correct fueling.  Personally, I would replace with a forge unit (similar or same as the one pictured).

If it is fully adjustable so I can get it to recirculate all the air it would work as normal. That is what I am hoping at least.
