My NA is sat on the drive throughout the year, cover on during the winter months and im ashamed to say probably did about 200 miles between November and March. Was an absolute pig when I started to take her out more regularly, warning lights coming up for ABS, would run fine then after a fuel stop seemed like it was running on 3 cylinders, EML light on, ABS light on, numerous fuse 8 pulls to reset and so it went on......Porsche Boxsters being researched...... This weekend thought enough! Pulled fuse 8, left it out for an hour, completed oil and filter change (what a pita), new air filter and fuel filter, replaced fuse, alarm triggered....my fob batteries dead....replaced, reset alarm, drove car.......wow, no issues, drove like it did last summer..,Boxster banished from my mind 😬 Since then, no issues and I have used it every day and completed 400 trouble free miles...clearly these machines no not like being sat around. How are you all getting on?

Use mine all year round (unless rain is torrential or there's ice/snow about). Roof off mostly. So.. All fine, ta! 😄

I don't ever get any electrical issues like that, I'd suggest you really need to stick it in a dry garage I think, plugged in to a battery charger. Mine spends winter like that and never has a problem starting/working.

Hi Nev, would love a garage, no such luck and trying to find a lockup around my way ....it would easier to find the Ark! Regular use seems to be the answer, I suspect damp creeping in over the winter months

Had a random EML "NA" code after 3 months static, reset and all ok at the moment (fingers crossed). Lots of road noise but I think that's me getting spoiled by normal cars. :)

Mines tip top and ready for a Highlands road trip in a couple of weeks!

I had it SC'd at the start of winter so this will be the first proper road trip since its been done. I had a MAP sensor failure over xmas but now carry a spare along with some other critical bits so I'm prepared. The main issue i have is not dash cowl as it was super glued in so had to be smashed out. No performance issues but it looks terrible without.

I ran without one when testing the garw and it looked awful lol. Good job though cos I was able to swap it out early when it kept crashing!

My car also does this! Even when it was left in a dry garage. If I leave it for 2 weeks, when it starts it judders like it's on 3 cyls for a few mins, sometimes get the fan on for first 30 mins of a journey. But when I drive it every few days it's fine, even left outside.

Garw screen just installed but the values are all way off

Need to change a wheel bearing it seems

Need to change brake fluid as when measured would boil very easely

Also got some new engine oil since i don't know when the previous owner changed it

The cabling for my chargecooler install hasn't been insulated properly with fabric tape

But with the help of a odb bluetooth dongle to monitor values that don't display in the garw lcd, and the torque app, i've managed to cover 100km the past week wohoo!

if you get the apk for the torque pro version , you can also see the TMAP sensor , so boost and intake temps

Well apart from the mice getting in, chewing up my driving gloves to make a nest and gnawing away the boot trim. A visual inspection doesn't indicate anything else, so all seems fine. Took a couple of presses of the start button but eventually coughed and spluttered into life. Now looking forward to the first track day at Goodwood this Saturday. Just seen the forecast, guess what....

Ummm. Had a knocking noise from the front end this morning, stopped under braking, turned out one of the spring plates across top of the pads had broken....decided to change pads all round, dont mind those sorts of issues, random warning lights are just frustrating! Hope you get yours sorted
