Hey all, had a Europa S for a year or so and figured I should get around to signing up here as it's just a tubby in drag. I did used to own a yellow vx220 N/A back in 2007 but forgot all my log in details :) Anyway, looking for advice on an 02 sensor that's not bosch as I'm on my third bosch and it's still throwing a cel! I'll post in techinal for that however! All the best, Mark.

Look at the wiring to the sensor, and check the sensor wiring isn't melting somewhere.  Bosch sensors usually come recommended.

How sure are you that you're buying genuine Bosch sensors? Lots of copies around...

Good point. Never actually checked the boxes from the garage but I do trust them, been using them a while. I'll buy a genuine bosch one myself and take it in ;)

Ah Steve, I am an utter moron when it comes to spannering! Just read the code and it says: O2 sensor heater Circuit bank 1 Sensor 1

Could be a loom issue but to be honest if you are worried about fitting a new lambda, trouble shooting the loom is a more difficult process, might be best to drop it off at an auto electrician.
