I saw the Mustang gt500 race they did on top gear to san siro , I put it a request at Ford to see what figures for a new one with auto box. Is it the 10 speed auto in them now? I think its the same box jointly designed with Corvette.

That's twice you've spotted me then!

I did clock the 'Stang, looked good - V8 I hope? Has that replaced the Golf?

Thought that was you :) You've cleaned the car. Yes V8 old model, good deals in run out stock compared to new. Averaged 30.1 mpg (if you believe the trip comp) on the leisurely drive home.

Couldn't be bothered to clean it, so I got a full respray instead!!

Have you literally just picked up the 'Stang then?

Literally 20 min before seeing you. Think Ford near to BOT on Slyfield. VX looked fresh that's for sure.

Nice!

I'd just picked up the VX from BoT after a service as it happens! I'm pretty pleased with it, although the finish isn't perfect. The guy said he will sort it, but it'll have to wait til the autumn now. He did screw it back together so well, though, that's not a squeak or a rattle to be heard! I reckon it's now amongst the most refined (in terms of NVH.. ignoring the exhaust noise, obv!) VXs out there!
