Thought I would say hi as I purchased my first VX on Friday and its already up on axle stands! Its not broken but I am fitting spitfire arms and HCB. Its also got a squeal on the belt or one of the pulleys so going to look into that. Brief spec below: m62 supercharger with 3.35" pulley 68mm lsj throttle body pro alloy charge cooler radiator with twin fans pro alloy radiator alloy racing chargecooler tank LSJ injectors rs500 air filter Dutch software, I have a obd cable on order so I can look into the map. I have dabbled in self mapping when I had my evo but really want to start with a bit of system monitoring. One quick question for the SC owners, chargecooler tank fluid level where should this be its currently just above the return line, at the first crease in the tank? cheers

Hi and welcome. Was over your way at the weekend at a trackday at Snetterton. Regards the CC tank level - I'd top it up a bit to half way full just so that, if nothing else, there's less chance of air getting in via the return outlet if the level gets too low.

As steve said.. there is no correct level mark. I just fill them up to about 1/2 to 3/4.. flow is generally quite slow.

Bit of a radical approach....normally people let the HCBs or toe links snap and having a crash before changing them!

cheers chaps.

I sold my track car last year and this is the replacement and as snetterton is my local will hopefully get there again soon.

is it just normal red coolant and distilled water in the cc system?

everything looks original so I thought rather than having a huge crash and possible death I would do some preventive maintenance while the weathers still crap!
