Hello good people! If you had 25k to spend on a VX220, how would you spend it? I'm not looking for a track car but rather a quick and agile road car. Oh, and the car must be included in the price. Would you go with an NA or a VXT? And what modifications would you do?

I much prefer throttle bodies, but for best value for money it's hard to beat a stage 2 SC

Just don't make the mistake of wanting more bhp, thats where the money goes and it goes very fast

Id want a car with a/c for £25k as theres nothing quite as glamorous as getting out of your £25k sports car in the height of summer with a sweaty back... Something like these: https://www.pistonhe...1-owner/8697694 https://www.pistonhe...touring/8682238 https://www.pistonhe...ra-v6-4/8640611

Whats wrong with a low mileage VXR. Bought right would have little depreciation.

25k in a VX only a VXR makes financial sense really. You could buy and build something for less but depends what you want. I guess a perfect road car for me would be my car (mint) with a stage 2 S.C. conversion and ohlins dampers plus an LSD but that would be more than 25k including the car. A base 2.2 worth having is 10k and up and you can soon rattle up 10k of spend so 25k is probably a modest figure if you modders actually dare add up what you have actually spent. In many cases it's much much more!

I don't know why you recommend another car, cause a NA with SC2 is about 15-20, so 25 isn't that much really.
