Finally got to the bottom of a niggly problem

driver pre tensioner high resistance

fault clears when I put a resistor in the passenger side plug........

do the seat pre tensioner looms travel down the middle of the car and then one loom left and one loom right

or

does each pre tensioner loom travel down the respective side

(yes, if I disconnect my driver seat, I get high resistance on the passenger side, according to ecu fault code).

the wiring comes into the parcel shelf area from the engine bay, all wrapped together

each pre-tensioner should have it's own loom and plug, somehow yours is back to front

Or could it be an LHD SRS unit or diag-software using LHD Opel settings? ('driver side' being a fairly trivial classification ;) )

Bye, Arno.

SRS unit is brand new (old stock)    software being vaux-com

as far as I am aware, I programmed it using 2004 Astra G options

it was a bugger and took several attempts to program, damn thing kept saying, squib code mis-match, squib code not programmed

So, the answer is,  the wires are sided, they come through the respective sides

so, I AMO is close with the suggestion...

LHD SRS unit or diag-software using LHD Opel settings
