Just notice that Regelin Performance has a drop-in 4-channel ABS ECU which doesn't need a Lotus activation. If this count as a marketing post I'm sorry, just wanted to leave it as a tip!

Ouch, that's not cheap. Speak to Paul at Oakmere - he'll do you a deal on a pre-programmed one.

I'd be up for another mini group buy in the future to be honest.

I am in for a mini group buy on this too if it happens.  Why is the Regelin product limited to track use only?  Surely an MOT wouldn't be a problem with this fitted...

Regards

Roy

The 'track use only' is likley because Regelin are German and changes in certain areas on cars cause problems at TUV test (German MOT) time as they were never homologated for the car.

Getting approval for certain modifications and changes on a car can be done but can also be a problem - imagine what GM spent on ABS calibration and then your MOT tester asking you to do something similar.

I'd imagine Regelin are covering themselves from a legal perspective.
