Newbie With Suspension Issues

I've got a bog standard 220 with serious suspension issues (MoT failure). I'd like an affordable suspension kit so I can get the machine back on the road and my strapped-for-cash son can buy it back from me. Bilstein is far too top end for our pockets but I'd be very, very grateful for any advice. Thanks.

Bilstein is OE and the minimum standard you ought to get really. Often come up second hand on here or on ebay.. front ones from my very first VX here, for example: https://www.ebay.co....vwAAOSwfpBahakR . Bet you'd find them cheaper still..
What does the failure sheet say? Leaky shocks? You can get the OE shocks refurbed as well..

How much do you want to spend?

GAZ Nics used to be the cheapest but you would still be looking at £500ish +

How about listing which exact shocks are failing, so we can take it from there?

I get the impression that would be too much even for all four corners!!
