I’ve just bought an 03 NA, which I believe may be known in these parts?! It looks the part but needs a little TLC so I’ve just ordered a set of bushes, bolts, discs and pads, calipers and a pair of steering column UJs which I’ll start fitting this weekend.

I’m a dyed in the wool GM fan. I drive a 1985 Carlton for the school run, a Bedford CF minibus for family outings and have various other RWD Opel/Vauxhall undergoing restoration at the moment. I owned an E63 wagon a couple of years ago and missed the speed so, despite having 3 young kids decided against a big, quick car and went for a small, quick car! 10 days in and it’s all going well - hopefully that carries on!

Man, that looks amazing!!! I was only looking at those wheels the other day and wondering what they’d look like on a VX. Awesome 👌

Welcome to the mad house. Where are you from? Swansea here and a few others in the South and West Wales area so if you have any questions just shout.

Car looks great I love the wheels.

Get your name on the list for the replacement rear light lenses ;)

Welcome Entwhistle,

Will keep an eye out for you, distinctive wheels on yours will set you apart.

Which part of West side you from?

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Truth be told I wasn’t a fan of the wheels initially but they really do set the car off! I’m in Ammanford - not too far from Swansea! It’s used pretty much daily so chances are I’ll be spotted soon

Are there any local meets or runs? Seems like there are plenty of VXs around here, I just never see them!

Pete-r, I wouldn’t mind a poke around your car sometime as a SC is the long term plan I just need to sell some cars first....

I’ve got a pair of lenses, just need to stick them on!

Any time, feel free to drop me a PM, but be warned it could be an expensive exercise lol.

After a ride in an SC the NA will never feel quite the same again.

By the way not sure who copied who on the black stone chip protector haha.
