Costwise chop up an original , and keep the Milltek intact. You might be surprised at the state of the stainless on yours and the fixings have dissolved to solid.

Mine is surprisingly in good condition but I have seen examples of the badly corroded ones, you are right 👍

I already have an expensive 100 cell cat. Not happy to hollow this out and wanted to keep it for interchangability.
