you usually are in the cabin, this is just better for air flow and maximises it
if you look with the clam off, the air can literally go anywhere in the rad surround and around the rad

Made a few tweaks to the air flicker 
Used 30 x 30 PVC angle held on by Velcro Purchased in B&Q this is more flexible so should flick more as per Winstars original suggestion.
It's not as strong as the original so it will be interesting to see how long it lasts but I think it looks better and very easy to shape and cut with garden shears!
