Hi guys looking for some guidance bought a kit car, currently sitting at about 250bhp im looking to get close to 400bhp, I will be controlling power through a digital boost controller, to tame it down when needed.

I found a great tuner. The problem his rolling road only measure’s up to 330bhp.

He has said that he will continue mapping above 330 taking the car to its full potential. However wont be able to show graphs etc

His rolling road is due a refresh off season later in the year, he has offered me a free dyno when hes ready ….What’s your thoughts, will I get a good map if he cant see power levels over 330bhp.

If anyone knows anyone that has experience with light weight big power and the DTA ECU and willing to map it,  please give me a shout.

Blacktop zetec forged. T43 turbo, throttle bodies..DTA ECU  kerb weight around 600ish

not a problem at all.. He wont really be looking at power output when doing the cal.

I'd be going to Track and Road in Rainham though

i will call them, do you have personal experience with these guys. They are on the DTA authorized mapper list, which is a good start.

I'd not suggest them if they were sh*t, its very hard to make it onto my good list.

SBD are decent enough
