Good morning all.

Having had to get an engine management light re-set following changing the fuel filter on my main car at the weekend, it occurred to me it would be handy to have a device which could read codes and allow re-setting as appropriate, particularly service required, etc.

So...can anyone recommend a reasonably priced tool which would allow reading and re-setting basic things?

Many thanks!

U480 obd scanner; simple stand alone, no battery and cheap.

Torgue light mobile app. (free)
It can read and clear the codes you have.
It requires a bluetooth obd dongle for android mobiles:

OPCOM vauxhall maintenance tool; requires laptop plugin!!.
Much more powerfull, and besides reading codes can be used
to change car settings, program new keys etc.

Scangauge II; on board computer device, that plugs in into obd.
Usually mounted permanently in the car.
