Hello,

I'm looking to see if fitting an exige S front ARB is something that anyone has ventured into before?

Is this something that people tend to upgrade to or does everyone just head straight for cornering force?

Any info appreciated.
Cheers,

Depends on the specific ARB. There is a yellow adjustable version fitted to some Exiges. Its not much stiffer than the standard ARB, even on the stiffest setting..

The full Cornering Force set-up is around £800.00

I really like the CF set-up, but its expensive and unnecessary for most, so look at some of the 1" front ARB's which makes a noticeable difference and cost around £300.00 new (e.g. Eliseparts front ARB)

Yeah I would expect the CF setup to be cheap.
I will be competing in the car next year so hoping to put the wheels in motion about getting the car set-up for doing such.

I've got a good starter for ten however there are a few thing I want to get changed before I start throwing it at a track.

For track I'd go straight for the 1" ARB (Eliseparts sell it)

Matt Bentley Racing ARB (that I have) uses better bushes than the Elise parts etc. (I seem to recall????)

Forget the Exige S ARB. Martin swapped out the OE one for an EP 1" one as it rolled too much on track.

Cheers,

Cornering Force have a range of bars with and without blade adjustment so plenty of options.

I think their non-blade bar is £350 so comparable in price though IMHO I would suspect the calculations and design behind it are not so comparable. They also come with everything needed to fit them included in the price including the drop links etc, so if you are only comparing pricing you may be pleasantly surprised once you have added all the extras needed on alternative options.

You also know that the exact rates etc have been calculated to some depth.

:)
