Water Injection Fault

I'm just after a bit of advice upfront before doing further investigation.
I've got water inj on my car and I suspected that the water injection wasn't working properly but couldnt see the gauge properly while on track.
I did a power run on my friends Dyno which he's recently got and so I had chance to view the water injection guage.
It seems to flash up on the display then stops the red lights and lights up the 2 yellow lights indicating a fault.
A couple of track days ago the water inj pump kept running even though the ignition was off (I had to pull the fuse on the relay). I've changed the relay and it seemed to be fine.
I was having a look where the water inj comes into the intake and noticed a split hose (see pic) but this was just on the fuel rail so don't think it's the cause.
I've also took a video of the guage whilst on the power run.

The thing that throws me us I'm still using loads of water, about 8ltrs on a track day

Repair fuel rail hose ASAP, as that will cause a too low fuel rail pressure on boost => lean mixture!

There is power and ground on the contact side, but the control box isn't giving the signal to the relay, to pull the contacts in.
When I have the relay connected but held in my hand I can hear and feel it latching briefly as the engine is cranking but that's it??
There is power to the gauge, so there should be power to the control box.
Any ideas?

And have you set up the fail safe

How are controlling the controller

I'm not sure about the failsafes as it's as Richard had it set up.
But its going to go into fault mode because the pump isn't running, the problem is why isn't the pump not running?
I've tried the relay on a battery and the contacts pull in.
I've had a voltmeter on the coil side of the relay and it's just milli volts and it should be showing 12v when engine running.
I presume?? One of the wires on the coil should give continuity to getting and it doesn't. It gets its ground from the control box, this must have ground as the guage works...........

If your using fuel injecter duty cycle the split hose could be the cause as the fuel rail pressure would not be correct and the injector over working causing the wi to go in fail safe

The pump is designed just to keep the water pressure up to pressure its the fav which controls the flow

For me it sounds the fuel injector pulse is not correct because the fuel pressure is not correct because of the split pipe and thats sets the fail safe off

Also i believe you are using the HS3.1 version

And to save a bit of time reset the fuel trims after you have fixed the fuel pressure pipe

I didn't realise the pump cut in and out? I was under the impression that it ran to 160psi then spilled back on itself.
Regarding the injectors, I haven't got access to Dutch and that is being beyond my brain power and knowledge

2 yellow lights is the fail safe

worth a read of all the reasons for the fail safe to activate
http://www.aquamist....HFS3-v3.11w.pdf
have you altered any of the dials on the controller or the guage ??

I check out the failsafes, thanks, and I appreciate the input.
I wasn't sure if it went into failsafe because it was asking for a flow but didn't get it as the pump wasn't running.
There's no way I can disconnect the water where it goes into the inlet as its unaccessible, but I could disconnect it after the FAV and pull the links and put it in test mode.

yes take the feed pipe of the fav and put the jumper in to the test position and the pump should continuously pump until the water runs out

Anyway, I pulled the jumper and the pump ran but the flow is very poor. I text Richard and he confirmed the flow isn't normal and to check the filter.
I'm going to check it on Tuesday (my next day off) but maybe the the pump is knackered as it was running permanently when the relay failed. Fingers crossed its the filter....
Here's a vid anyway, if your interested.
